The Lakeway Players Announce Auditions for their
Spring 2012 Production of Play On! by Rick Abbott

This fast-paced comedy involves an amateur theater group that is trying desperately to put on a play in spite of
maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the
dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in
which anything that can go wrong, DOES.

Auditions will be held at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, Lakeway, Texas, at the following times and dates.
Saturday, January 21, 11-1:00 p.m. in the Library
Monday, January 23, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the library
Thursday, January 26, 7:00-8:00 in Room D,

Readings of the script will be done from material provided at the audition.

The cast calls for seven females and three males. There are no bad roles in this madcap comedy and everyone is welcome to
read for a part.

Directed by Pat Vanderford, PLAY ON! is scheduled to be performed March 29,30 and 3l at 7:30 p.m. at the Lakeway
